Senator Barack Obama becomes the 44th President of the United States. Leading this nation as an independent Black Man for the first time in American History!! But can he bring this country back together now after one of the most controversial campaigns of our history is over?..... Yes we can!

Last night around 11pm the world changed. When the news hit the airwaves that African American Chicago State Senator Barack Obama (D) has been elected the 44th President of the United States i knew that the world has definitely been awaiting together for the long overdue "Change" that has finally come to America.

Realizing that life will never be the same again and being utterly inspired by the "American Dream" becoming reality and hearing the thousands of New Yorkers screaming and chanting "Obama, Obama, Obama!" i knew that reality was now. For years we all have pondered what would it be like to have a Black President? And if so, can he lead this country to greatness? Yes "He" can. With Delaware State Senator Joe Biden (D) by his side, along with their wife & kids made history by being a dynamic team of a Black & White presidential hopefuls. Years prior Obama's announcing of his run for the white house, we've had numerous African Americans who have made the attempt to take over the Presidential Suite but never can surpass the adversity until now.

Although this election has made history throughout the world including China, Kenya, London, Asia, and more.... At a time when we thought there wasn't any hope for the future, we were assured last night for sure and millions watched 78 million to be exact.

"Because what you did on this day, change has come to America." -- President Elect, Barack Obama.


I believe that Barack Obama can turn this country around and i am most certain that he going to need 2 terms to do so but, after i watched the local news and saw him making decisions and starting his duties as President {Which is ALOT! Economy, Gas Prices, Gay Equality & Marriage, etc etc etc...] quoting the man himself " We have a long way to go." As Michelle Obama stands by his side along with his beautiful kids i now know and believe that you can be anything you want to be as long as you believe that you can.
