Letter From Mr. Socialite

Episode 1; Moving forward, Preparing for big things, & looking ahead!

So i start the work week contemplating what's real, who's real, and where is the next step in my career. I came upon some decisions about reinventing myself, coming out with new material, angles, or plans but then i sat down, though about it and realized that i am still here and I've never left. As the company grows day by day i prepare myself for the fight, the fight of the amount of work that needs to get done but as one good friend of mine [Steven Emmanuel, Queer Kid of Color.] once told me " Stop complaining and just do the f**king work!! Mr. CEO!" As i gagged with a big grin on my face and realized that he was indeed, correct.

I have been under the radar lately and focusing on everything that i am working on such as NYC Socialites Media, my clients, & other endeavors including my current 9-5 [not really.] little gig @ Starbucks is stressing the hell out of me!! Long story short, i have resurfaced amongst it all showing my face at most of the important events and connecting with old friends & business acquaintances and through it all still finding myself and proceeding forward as planned.

In my final thought i came to the conclusion that life goes on no matter what, the world doesn't stop because your consumed with work and avoiding phone calls from friends and only answering business calls!! It's called life!! Moving on, tomorrow is the big day, the day we vote for the next president of this great country we live in [It has it's faults but, don't we all?] remember to VOTE!! For those who aren't registered or still haven't voted in ever, screw you! Cause as the saying goes, life goes on!! Trust. Special thanks to my love Mr. Parker-Baker by my side day and night! :-)
